The Draw
Hands-on gear reviews, written after 30 days of actual carry. Holsters, belts, weapon lights, optics, knives, medical, bags. Verdict first, reasoning second, and every one ends with what we'd change.
What a Draw review looks like
The verdict, up top. Rounds out of six and one sentence on who should buy it. If you read nothing else, you've got the answer.
The Carry Test. How long we carried it, how we carried it, and what happened. Draw times on a shot timer where it matters. Weights on a kitchen scale. Lumens and candela from the spec sheet, with a note when the spec sheet was lying.
Who it's for, who should skip it. Gear is a fit, not a grade. A holster that's perfect for a 6'2" guy in a hoodie can be useless for a 5'4" woman in a blouse.
What we'd change. Required. Every time.
Where it came from. Bought with our money, loaned, or sent free. Stated plainly, every review.
